Can we just talk about it how it’s June already? Where is my life going?
It’s going to be a weird summer, since it’s the first one that I’ll spend working, as a real adult or something. I wonder when I’ll learn that sleeping one hour and going to work the next day because you were dancing till 4 a.m. in Williamsburg like I did on Tuesday night is a bad idea, But if I never learn, I’ll be okay with it.
So, food. I’m afraid that this is another post for New York City.
Memorial Day BBQ? How about sushi instead.

Raiding the fridge at 3 a.m. after a night out? How about some shady, but ridiculously cheap and delicious Indian food. Share with a friend, of course.

Rice with yellow lentils and chickpeas:

I have more but I’m still catching up on sleep from Tuesday night. But let’s take a moment to appreciate the late night culinary achievement of NYC. Thanks.
Have a good weekend. I’m off to Salt Lake City for a conference. The laptop is accompanying me this time. I just need the energy to blog!

I swear sushi is one of the harest things ever to take a good picture of, but it looks like you nailed it!!!
Oh, wow. I haven’t had sushi in WAY too long–that all looks delicious.
I miss living in a city for exactly this reason. There is no good hole-in-the-wall, walk-there-and-get-it-in-five-minutes, even-at-three-a.m. place in the suburbs.
sleep is always good, I think it is so exciting how much traveling you are doing in your job… its awesome
tiring yes, but awesome! congrats girlie!
It’s been far too long since I last had sushi! MMM!
I just decided I need dumplings. it’s midnight. Thanks alot!
Haha, we didn’t end up having the traditional Memorial Day BBQ either–I took my parents to Panera instead:)
Those dumplings look amazing! You’re tempting me to go out and get some.
One of my favorite things about New York is the crazy food you can have at early morning hours. Oh and I can tell you after 3 years in the ‘real world’ you never truly learn the whole sleeping one hour is a bad idea thing. Just embrace it! We’re in our 20′s! I say as long as you make it to work in the morning you’re golden. Despite the fact that after an hour of sleep and possibly being hungover you feel anything but golden.
Ahh, I am all about BOTH of those meals. Sushi and late-night Indian food both sound so delicious right now…and it’s 9am!
I totally hear ya . . . my Wednesday night didn’t end until 4am, and I’m still feeling it! It’s hard to put yourself to bed at 11 in the summertime in NY, though
