I really miss blogging and commenting but I’ve been ridiculously busy at work. The April issue is hitting the printers soon, which means there are lots of last minute things to do. It’s tiring but exciting!
I go to the gym after work about 4 times a week. As my savior, my mom has been cooking up some magical meals for me for dinner.
It seems like our conversation about my undeniable love for vegetables and indifference to meat really resonated with her. For example:
She made me a vegetable stir-fry and shrimp dish the other night:
Tonight, it was more veggies with whole wheat spaghetti and tilapia:
I’m loving it. Just so my dad doesn’t get jealous of my special treatment, my mom also makes crazy dishes for him. Like these egg whites stuffed with spiced chicken liver and topped with mayo.
I’ve been also doing lots of drinking. Fruit drinking, that is.
I’ve totally been diggin’ some POM Wonderful. What can I say, it’s a 100% natural pomegranate juice. You can’t go wrong. It’s delicious.
I’m also dangerously addicted to this 100 % pure raspberry apple juice:
When I get off the train in the morning, there’s a little farmer’s market on my way to work. Red Jacket Orchards is always there and I can’t resist! This juice is incredible. There are a bunch of flavors I haven’t tried yet.

But now that I’ve done a food comparison with my dad, might as well do a drink one. You know where this is going.
Literally, he’s trying to squeeze out the last drops of vodka out of this bottle:

I am really loving the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues? A small number of my blog visitors have complained about my site not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any ideas to help fix this issue?

I love buying fresh juices from Farmer’s Markets like that. YUM! I love the picture of your dad with the vodka. That is soo me on the weekends. lol

Totally understand the need to take a break in order to prioritize work demands. It can be overwhelming holding full time job and blogging.

I haven’t had a good laugh yet today, but yesterday, I was in hysterics over the fact that a gay friend of mine made it onto Fred Phelp’s website (long story). Nothing filled my friend with more pride than to be publicly shamed by Fred Phelps. It’s one of those paradoxes that works out nicely. Hahaha.
