Ho Ho Holidays

Did you enter the V8 Campbell’s Soup giveaway yet? Cause it’s still happening!

Once the November turkey ritual is done, Christmas rolls in big time. And if there’s a better way to anticipate Christmas other than this one, I’d like to hear it:

That’s right, a chocolate Christmas countdown. My roommate’s dad sent an individual chocolate calendar to all three of us. I guess he knows the thing about the people who live here and chocolate. It’s key.

Opening each day is like getting a little sweet gift before Santa arrives in the end of the month. I like it.

I also officially kicked off the winter brew season with a Berkshire Brewing Co’s Holidale. Lots of delicious rye, hints of candied fruit and spices. Really, I don’t think I can even look at Bud Light.

Chocolate and beer. That’s how I’m Healthing It ;)

What puts you in the jolly holiday spirit?

I received holiday socks and a personalized snow-man from my mom in the mail today. If that doesn’t put one in the holiday spirits, then I don’t know what will. Also, she’s apparently under the impression that I’m still eight-year’s-old, which is totally ok with me.

I love advent calendars and holiday beer! And yes, Bud Light blows.

I love advent calendars, especially if they have chocolate treats! The holiday beer looks tasty, even if I don’t like beer!

First of all, Kathleens parents always gave us an advent calendar. What’s weird is that…well im a jew and they arent religious at all. But it was nice. We usually went every other day to eat the chocolate or depending on the shape… I kinda miss that.. And what puts me in the holiday spirit? Honestly? The smell of potatoes and oil all over the kitchen for the latkahs my dad spends all day making. He kicks my mom and i out of the kitchen. We actually arent allowed in. We really don’t want to be there anyway because there’s stuff ALL OVER the place.

I love advent calendars! My sis and I would always do those when we were younger. Actually, my fam still does it at home and when I come back in mid-december I get to pick it up too. It’s such a fun treat!
