Four weeks

15 11 2009

I know. I dropped off the blog radar these past few days. But wait, I can explain.

There are four weeks left in this semester, and thus my cumulative undergraduate academic career, which can only mean two things:

1. Spending hours at the library completing final projects, writing papers and studying for final exams.

2. Spending evenings frequenting my favorite college bars and then, apparently trying to take a picture (in the back of my friend’s moving car) of the Mexican Pizza slice I drunkenly order at 1 a.m.

Give me some points for effort here. I tried :)

But I’ve learned quite a lot in my time as a student here.

Never commit to spending hours in the library without proper snacks on hand.

TJ's Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels make any government memo sound interesting.

Hangover breakfast should include grains and a banana. Peanut butter doesn’t hurt either.

Spicy kabocha fries are good, anytime. But you already knew that.

After some peaceful negotiations, I’ve finally reached an agreement with the parental unit on the nature of my graduation gift. It’s bad ass, and I can hardly wait for it to arrive.

Are you counting down to anything?

Mmmm those kabocha fries look SO GOOD! What did you sprinkle on them to make ‘em spicy?

I’m counting down til 1) Black Friday (I’m working 12am-11am in the commons and am oddly excited about it) 2) Christmas 3) Getting a job and moving out of my parents house! Unfortunately # 3 has no specific date to count down til :(

I sprinkled a mix of chili and paprika powder for some spice on top :)

Black Friday always terrifies me, people are crazy animals when it comes to shopping for discounts! haha

Ohhhh man. How I completely love those TJ’s Peanut Butter filled pretzels.

Nothing like drunk pizza at the tail end of a long night. Always hits the spot.

I’m counting down the days until Thanksgiving break/vacation. My life has been a little dictated by work for the past 3 months, so it’ll be nice to have a clean three-day break from it all.
