Whew, another Tuesday down!
My Tuesdays are like the worst case of Mondays + those last hours of work on Friday that just drag on and on combined. Oh caffeine, how would I survive class from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. without you?

Last night at dinner, my roommate proclaimed, “I officially lost feeling in my tongue.” And this Tikka Masala paste was to blame:

This turned out to be one of the spiciest Indian dishes I’ve had in a long time. Lips burning good!

We also had store-bought (but excellent) garlic naan bread:

Plus salad and a glass of red wine. Ah, yes. Monday nights.

After we finished eating, our stomachs and lips were on fire. So for a complete meal, we got into the car and drove to Bart’s Homemade Ice Cream shop for a pint of pumpkin pie in ice cream form. No joke. It’s out of this world.

It sort of left me speechless:

Gracie definitely noticed our excitement and wanted to be in on the action:

But a pint between three people? She realized she wasn’t going to get any very soon:

What’s your idea of a complete meal?

I vote pumpkin ice cream should be sold year round — it’s just too good to be limited to a few months!
I have that exact thermos. Can’t live without it. And the pumpkin ice cream looks delicious!
I’m catching up on your posts!!!
Love all the cat pics
Loved your beerific weekend.
And my idea of a complete meal = must have at least 3 components! Preferably a “main” dish and 2 vegetable sides
oh, and dark chocolate for dessert

Curry, naan and PUMPKIN ICE CREAM. Forget NY- I am coming to MA!
Complete meal to me is my mom’s roast chicken, my homemade ratatouille/goulash hybride vegetable dish, Israeli cous cous and roasted asparagus. Followed by my mom’s “rotten fruit pie” and vanilla ice cream (the pie sounds gross, but is INCREDIBLE!)
Wow – that Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream looks amazing. Gracie is super cute too!
Thanks for the contest shoutout and for having me on your blogroll

Complete meal would just have to include an awesome main dish and some super ridiculous dessert
What a fun dinner, I would love to try that ice cream!
Yay for pumpkin ice cream! I wait all year for that to come out
Ah, I love the loss-of-tongue feeling! I think chicken tikka masala is supposed to be very mild, so I never get it at Indian restaurants. I’ll have to check out that bad-ass paste.
