Happy International Women’s Day, ladies.

Did you know about this? It’s a pretty huge deal in Ukraine, my dad still gets my mom and I presents and flowers every March 8th :) If you want anything, today’s an extra sneaky day to get your man to do it, ya know what I’m sayin?

Anyway, I ended up staying up late last night and watching a lot of free episodes of The Office, which resulted in waking up in time for brunch:

A soft boiled egg & a toasted Thomas Multigrain Light English muffin with almond buttaa

1/2 cup of nonfat cottage cheese with 1/2 a massive nanner & cinn was also involved

Seriously, my day was so boring. I spent it working on this essay on legal standing, “a pillar of the judiciary system,” a.k.a. ULTRA SNORE-RIFIC

Liz and I decided to use up our CSA veggies for dinner and made a fantastic lemon-curry-veggie stir-fry, served with peanut sesame noodles (out of some package that wasn’t mine).

In the stir-fry: red cabbage, pasnips, brocolli & onions. I had seconds of both things.

We’re heading to the library tonight where I can actually focus on doing some intense homework. I’ll probably bring an apple with me because if we stay there late and the stomach begins talkin’ I gotta shut it up.

If on Thursday at precisely 3:45 P.M., you suddenly hear thrillingly loud shouts of joy, that’s just me, celebrating the end of two exams and two papers, and the beginning of my spring break :) I’m literally about to start counting down hours, you guys.

My shins feel a lot better and I’m going to try a light run tomorrow! I’m excited. I did some strength training today but I’ve been pretty lazy and homework absorbed otherwise.

Don’t forget, the giveaway ends tonight at midnight, with a winner to be announced tomorrow night. Yay!

Obviously, I’m looking forward to the end of the week hardcore…What are you looking forward to this week?

I’m looking forward to getting back to my weekly routine and out of this crazy weekend, long runs, eating out nonsense.

If I had a hammer, I’d smash my thumb.

I’m so glad your shins feel better. I was worried! Shin splints are so painful! :(
I have definitely never heard of women’s day. Why?! It was women’s WKND in my house so I’m feeling pretty satisfied. :) I, too, am looking fwd to Thursday being done. I have a ugly test that day :/

I <3 International Women’s Day!! Check out BBC news online if you haven’t already…they have some awesome photo gallerys and stories that pay respect to it. It really saddens me that we don’t celebrate here!

I’m super jealous of your Spring Break! Mine starts next week, but until then I’m looking forward to being done with one of my classes by Thursday, and my parents visiting this weekend!

My best friend from home is coming to visit me here at school on Friday. I’m so excited to have a new partner in crime!

Your little egg holder makes me smile every time he shows up on here.

I wish I had known all day that men should be showering me with gifts and thanks. This is my new favorite holiday!
