Hello my good people,
What’s happenin? I’ve been extremely energetic all day long for some reason. I just don’t want to stop moving. Maybe it’s the thought of my fast approaching birthday (Feb. 5th!)…the legal key to bar life? hahah
I stayed up pretty late last night hanging out (which was awesome), but I was starving when I woke up this morning. But I wanted to squeeze some exercise in before eating and found this:
My dad got this DVD as a present…Yeah, what? He obviously handed it over to me. =] I did the sculpting and flexibility sequences. I really liked the sculpting one and will do it again. The flexibility sequence was like “oh, we borrowed most of this from yoga.” It just made me want to do legit yoga! But I left that DVD in school, boo.
Then I was finally ready to eat a filling breakfast: 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, 1 banana, blueberries, flax, roasted almonds and a tad of honey almond butter. Never fails to be delicious.
And a cup of coffee. My brother went to Binghamton but my UMass cup is obviously cooler. (Pssttt...Norman Sims is one of the few literary journalism historians and guess what? He’s also my professor!)
A few hours later, I got on the treadmill and spent a little over an hour running/jogging/walking on an incline. I didn’t want to get off!
After showering, I needed some suppa dupa protein. So I had a scrambled egg with farmer’s cheese, topped with ketchup. And some yellow bell pepper and cucumber slices on the side.
I loved the addition of the farmer’s cheese! It tasted like feta but more creamy and less tangy. Plus, 2 tablespoons= 45 calories and 5 grams of protein!
Here’s what it looks like when my mom brings it home from the Russian supermarket:
This was in my fridge, so dessert was a must tonight:
I gotta run to watch the Flight of the Conchords season premiere, so no Nawlinz pics tonight. BUT look what I found as a substitute: my brother, my dad and me back in the day in good old Ukraine on vacation. Those damn thighs are genetic, I guess.
OH! and if all goes according to plan, I’m going to food blogger paradise tomorrow, so stay tuned!

AAHHHH!!! i can’t wait til Tuesday either, it’s so crazy that it’s actually happening! And lucky lucky you, turning 21 so soon… I have to wait til APRIL, boooooo. hope you have a fabulous evening!
