Procrastination strikes again

1 10 2008

So this morning while rushing out of my house to catch the bus, I hit my forehead on the corner of my huge desk and now I have this bad ass Harry Potteresque scar on my face. Awesome.

Because I was rushing, I had a quick breakfast: bowl of Kashi Good Friends, flax, small banana and soy milk. I added a few walnuts for extra flavaaa.

Either my class was way too boring for me not to think about food or my body is totally getting used to feeling full only with breakfast oats…whatever the reason, I was starving for lunch.

This was surprisingly good:

I… veggied it up (as opposed to “beefed it up”) with extra black beans, some wheat germ and broccoli. I also had some hummus with fresh tomato, a TJ’s whole wheat mini pita and a pickle.

This soup wasn’t salty and was actually flavorful, as opposed to the standard canned stuff.

None of my meals get off without dessert, so I had a pear and some dried fruit/nuts stuff.

I have a paper due tomorrow but I don’t want to write it. Surprise, surprise…I better be done before Project Runway tonight!

I like the way you slice your pears. They look so perfect. Do you have a mandolin?

Love your lunch – nothing is every complete without dessert! That’s why I like having fruit with breakfast :)
