Another Tuesday in the bag.

Whew, tough day! But I made it through another crazy Tuesday in my college life.

This morning, I has the most amazing bowl of oats for breakfast.

Delightfully rich and creamy…

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup ff cottage cheese
  • 1 small banana
  • few dried fruit for topping
  • 1/2 T spoon of Dark Chocolate Dreams PB (!!!)

I will definitely be having this again.

Packed snacks for the day in lieu of an actual lunch, which I have no time for.

I didn’t eat the prunes, I had an apple instead. This LUNA flavor is so delicious, it really makes me feel like I’m eating a chocolate bar, I almost feel guilty =]

For dinner, my Prof Katja offered me some of her lentil soup from last week. I had a bowl of it with a piece of sunny-flax bread, sooooo delish.

She even brought out the pretty bowl for me =] She loves the idea of this blog!

I also had a cup of coffee before my late class. I have to do some reading before going to bed. I have two papers due by the end of the week, gotta get crackin’ tomorrow!

I got the October issue of SHAPE magazine to browse through as well… I just began getting it in the mail and I love all the exercise tips, motivational stories, recipes and product reviews.

What magazines do you guys read? What do you like/not like about them?

I wish I could find the dark chocolate dreams pb. I think I’d love it. Then again I think I’d eat the whole jar in one sitting.

That’s so cool that your prof is in on your blog too haha.

I love magazines but right now I’m only really reading Fitness, Vegetarian Times and Nutrition Action Newsletter because I have subscriptions to those and don’t really have time to read anything else right now! Aside from textbooks of course… boo.
